Inauguration of First Year Classes

The Inaugural function for the first year B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A / M.B.A classes, Paavai Engineering Colleges, was held on 27th and 28th August, 2017 on the college premises. The function started with a prayer song. Mr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration welcomed the gathering. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function.
Smt.N.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Institutions, lighted the Kuthuvilakku. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, hoisted the Paavai flag and Inaugurated the First year classes and delivered the presidential address.
In his presidential address, he pointed out that Paavai is the guiding torch to the youth folk and said that the five wicks of Kuthuvilakku, stand for students, faculty, parent’s co-operation, society and management. He insisted that the parents must be very supportive for the betterment of their children and students must know their responsibilities. He told that Paavai is the place for learning. Be proud for good start right now set right to achieve your destination. He advised that students must develop good attitude, know their values of life and understand that the failures are the stepping stones of success. Getting inspiration from others is not at all a matter but inspiring others show one’s caliber.

The Correspondent, Smt.N.Mangai Natarajan, Paavai Institutions, felicitated the gathering. In her felicitation address, she said that the students must know their age of responsibility and follow the Paavai mantra “Own your words and deeds”
The Function concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. Then, Padha pooja was performed by all the First year students to their parents and got their blessings.
Mr.T.R.Palanivel, Vice Chairman, Mr.T.R.Manisekaran, Secretary, Mr.T.Palanivel, Joint secretary, Mr.K.Senthil, Director – Admissions and colleges Principals of all colleges, Deans, Hods, Professors, Students and their parents were also part of the gathering.
