Graduation Day - 2017

The Grduation ceremony of Paavai College of Technology, Paavai Group of Institutions, Paavai College of Education and Paavai Arts and Science College for women took place on 02.09.2017.Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Insititutions, presided over the function. The chief Guest Dr.M.Bhaskaran, Vice Chancellor, of Tamilnadu Open University greeted the young graduates and addressed them as follows:
“ We should always be grateful to our parents and teachers who have given us life, identity, meaning and a purpose to live well. Education is a powerful weapon in transforming every individual to be knowledgeable and every nation, a super – power. India is becoming more and more digital in tune with the progress. The system of education, particularly, Engineering education is getting revamped as per the needs of the industry and society.
The information and electronics technology has penetrated into areas such as robotics, agriculture, medical sciences, bio-technology,etc..,in order to enhance the mortality rate and the progress of human life. So it is essential to develop an insightful and integrated approach to learning . In addition to the generic skills, the students should master rich skills or in-demand skills that every industry is looking for while employing a graduate . And it is the responsibility of the teachers to adopt innovative methods like ICT enabled teaching resulting in motivating the students to do technology related certificate or add-on courses within the stipulated years engineering or arts and sciences. It was Einstein who said, creativity is more important than knowledge . So dear graduates, be creative and innovative. Celebrate your victories but learn from failures. Be a leader but do well as a team player to make use of every opportunity. I am sure Paavai Institutions with all its impressive infrastructure will emerge and continue its yeoman service to the society.
As the President of the graduation ceremony Paavai Chairman conducted the entire proceedings of the event. And also administered the graduation oath to the graduates who got their degree and gold coins were given by the Chairman to the university rank holders.
Earlier, Shrimathi.Mangai Natarajan lighted the Kuththuvilakku along with the dignitaries. Dr.Sundararajan, Principal, Paavai College of technology welcomed the gathering and Dr.R.Rajeshwari , Principal, Paavai Arts and Science college for women proposed the vote of thanks.
Shri.T.R.Manisekaran, Vice Chairman, Shri.T.R.Palanivel, Secretary, Shri.N.Palanivel, Joint Secretary, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Shri.K.Senthil, Director Admissions, Principals, Hods, Deans, Professors, students and their Parents graced the occasion.
