The Tamil Forum of Paavai Educational Institutions organised “பாவை விருதுகள்’23 – ஆன்றோர் முற்றம்” in a grandiose manner on 10.02.2024 in Anandha Arangam to honour the literary luminaries who sculpt the world with their profound words, inspiring, challenging, and enriching our understanding of the human experience. The programme commenced with a Prayer song followed by Tamilthaivazithu. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions.

Thiru G.Balachandran, the esteemed retired Additional Chief Secretary of West Bengal and distinguished political analyst hailing from Tamil Nadu, graced the occasion as a notable special guest. He addressed that, awards are presented to the achievers who have created the young society by virtue of others and those who have integrated the life aspects of the Tamil world and introduced them to the society in the form of language, literature, story, culture, science, society, child welfare, story section, translation and history. He added that an individual can create positive changes among the youth because of the creative use of the ingenuity and skills at the right age and achieve many achievements just like the Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions. He also elucidated, the writings of writers have the power to change the life of a society, just like the life experiences of the pioneers are the motivation for the youth to move to the next level.
Thiru.R.Balakrishnan Special Chief advisor, Odisha government was bestowed with the prestigious “Lifetime achievement award” along with 13 more luminaries cum writers who have contributed to different fields including Tamil literature, short story, novel, poetry, translation and historical studies and film direction. He addressed the year 2024 is the centenary year of Indus Valley culture. He also cited that “Our culture is the best culture” in all areas of women education, feminism, rejection of feminism. He also stressed that education is not just a means to acquire knowledge but a vital foundation upon which everything else in life depends. He suggested that education provides the tools, skills, and understanding the necessary for personal enhancement and societal progress.
Among those honored were Thiru T.Stalin Gunasekaran, President of the Erode People’s Thought Council, acclaimed film director Nilesh Krishna, the illustrious Tamil writer and storyteller Thiru. Bava Chelladurai, novelists Thiru Imayam and Subrabharathi Maniyan, Tamil poets Illamparai and Issai, as well as short story writers Thiru.Venugopal and Thiru.GopalaKrishnan. Children’s literature luminaries Thiru.M.Murugesh and Thiru.K.Udhayashankar, along with translator-cum-researchers Thiru.Kurunji Velan and Thiru Stalin Rajagam, were also recognized for their remarkable linguistic craftsmanship. All these recipients graciously shared their profound insights and reflections on their journey. Paavai Institutions always cherishes and celebrates the invaluable contributions of writers across all disciplines, for they are the architects of our collective wisdom and the guardians of our shared humanity.The programme ended with the Vote of thanks by Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent Paavai Educational Institutions. The function was attended by Paavai Educational Institutions Administrators, Directors, Deans, Principals, Heads of departments, Professors, Journalists and students.
