The 23rd Paavai youth festival on national integration was celebrated at Paavai educational institutions on 07-02-2024. More than 1320 students from 44 Government high school, Higher secondary schools and Govt-Aided schools and 24 Private (Matriculation and CBSC) schools, of Namakkal and Salem had participated in the celebration. Nine competitions such as oratorical, Essay writing, poetry, quiz, drawing, Rangoli, dance, singing and Science projects were conducted for both government and Private schools separately.
The Director-administration , Shri.K.K.Ramasamy welcomed the gathering.
The Chairman, Paavai institutions Shri.CA.N.V. Natarajan presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his speech he mentioned that, every Indian should be proud to be an Indian and exhibit our patriotism for the country and have a belief on God. He pointed out the need of Match stick for beneficial activity and negative impacts also. He appreciated the imaginative and thinking capacity of the student participants. He expressed his wish that each and every student present there should become great in their role as a citizen.
The correspondent Madam Smt. Mangai Natarajan felicitated the student participants. In her felicitations, she said that this festival is celebrated to bring out the skills of school children and to practice integration by interacting with each other in this campus. Every girl student must have the courage to speak everywhere without any hesitation or fear. She insisted that each one should take care of our parents while they aged.
The Vice-Chairman Shri.T.R. Manisekaran, Secretary Shri.T.R. Palanivel, The Director –Admissions, The Director-administration, Dean Counseling, Dean academics, Event Co-coordinator Principals of Paavai group of Institutions, HODs and Staff members took Part in the function.
Prizes and certificates for the winners who got first, second, third place in each competition were distributed by the dignitaries.
Students and participating school teachers gave the feedback about the programme with enthusiasm and lauded the management for all the arrangements done by them. The hospitality was very much appreciated by them
