Paavai College of Engineering - Inauguration of the Society of All Departments

Inauguration of the association of all departments was held in Paavai College of Engineering, Namakkal, on 10.07.2017. Dr.P.Porchelvan, Senior Professor, School of Civil Engineering, VIT University, was the Chief Guest and the Correspondent of Paavai Institutions, Mrs.Mangai Natarajan presided over the function. The function started with the lighting of the kuthuvizhaku by the Correspondent Madam. Dr.M.Devi, Principal, Mr.S.Srinivasan, Director Operations, and Dr.S.Sugumar, Dean Civil, participated in the inauguration. Mr.P.R.Avinnash, final year Civil, welcomed the gathering & Ms.S.Vishnu priya, Asst Prof / Civil, introduced the Office bearers and briefed the themes of each department for the academic year 2017-18.

In the presidential address, the Correspondent explained the importance of Self-realization, which gives solution to the problems within their limit. She shared the importance of private –public partnerships to mould the society in an efficient manner and revealed that a person achieves in his career with good habits which are the good identity of education.

The Chief Guest explained the importance of knowledge and how it creates the revolution in a particular sector. He added that the association is also a knowledge sharing forum that motivates the students towards creativity. He insisted on avoiding the inferiority complex in all aspects to improve themselves which accelerates them to reach their dream positions

Ms.D.Jothika, Second year CSE, enumerated the association activity chart for the year 2017-2018. Finally, Mr.K.Chandrasegar, Final year Mechanical proposed the vote of thanks.
