The inaugural function of the first year polytechnic classes for the academic year 2022 – 2023 was held at Visvesvaraya Hall on 10th August, 2022. The function commenced with the prayer song followed by Tamil thai vazthu. Smt. N.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions lighted the Kuthuvilakku along with the dignitaries. Pooja was performed and the students sung the song of Lordess Saraswathi. Thiru N.K.Dinakaran, Principal of Paavai Polytechnic College welcomed the gathering. In the inaugural address, Smt. N.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent pointed out, that the students should respect and obey their parents and teachers. She insisted the students to obey their elders to achieve great heights. She also insisted the importance of discipline among the students. She gave a blessing note to the gathering and spoke on the responsibility and accountability of the students. Mr. T.S.Gowtham Head of Automobile Engineering proposed the vote of thanks. Finally, the fresher’s performed Padha Pooja to their parents and received the blessings of their parents. The function ended with the National Anthem.
