The Career Guidance Program titled “What After Engineering” was successfully conducted on 10.01.2026 at Aanada Arangam, Paavai Educational Institutions, with the objective of guiding students on the diverse opportunities available after completing their engineering degree. The program began with a warm welcome, followed by an inspiring address by the Chairman sir, who highlighted the significance of engineering in today’s rapidly evolving world. He emphasized how engineering plays a vital role in technological advancement, infrastructure development, innovation and national progress and encouraged students to cultivate strong technical knowledge along with ethical values and social responsibility. As a mark of respect and appreciation, the management honored the Chief Guest, Mr. R. Ashwin, career guidance expert, with a memento in recognition of his valuable presence and contribution to the program. In his keynote address on the theme “Life After Engineering,” Chief Guest, Mr. Ashwin delivered an engaging and insightful presentation, shedding light on various career pathways available to engineering graduates. He elaborated on opportunities in higher education, competitive examinations, research, entrepreneurship, corporate careers, and emerging technological fields. He also stressed the importance of skill development, continuous learning, adaptability and proper career planning in achieving professional success. The session proved to be highly informative and motivational, equipping students with clarity and confidence about their future prospects and inspiring them to make well-informed decisions regarding their career journey after engineering.
