Walk the ramp wearing unique clothing that are based on the theme

Format:

This is a group event focusing on the design skills of students on fabric.

Rules:

• Maximum 2 Teams per College ( 1 Boys Team/1 Girls Team).
• Max 10 Participants per Team.
• Time for each Team is limited to 8 + 2 mins for stage setting and clearing the stage. Violating Time limit will result in elimination.
• The teams need to clean up any mess or trash, etc. that you may use or make and all teams need to have representation backstage to clean the stage after the team’s program.
• Any form of obscenity will result in debarring the team from Participation.
• Please register your theme of your choice with your staff co coordinator, we request the staff coordinators to mail your college’s choice to our astra mail id.
• Judges decision will be final. Any violation will result in elimination.

Marks will be assessed based on Music (choice of song), Theme, Theme execution, Q & a round, Performance.

Event Name:DESIGNER OF ASTRA:Newspaper Dressing

About:

No, no, no, no… The textile industry isn’t undergoing a shut down. Newspaper Dressing is just a competition where papers, often thought useless by the public, is used by the thoughtful minds to create dresses with various designs and styles. For a fashion bug, newspapers are the perfect material for experimentation.

Format:

This is a group event focusing on the creativity of students.

Rules:

• Maximum 5 Teams per college.
• A team can comprise of 2 – 3 members.
• TIME DURATION : 1:30 Hrs.
• Materials will be provided. Participants are not advised to use their own materials.
• Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Judges decision will be final. Any violation will result in elimination.

Marks will be assessed based on Design complexity, Visual appearance / beauty, Creativity.

About:

Do It Yourself (DIY) - Design unique lamps using any material and impress the crowd with creativity

Format:

This is a group event focusing on the creativity of students.

Rules:

• Maximum 5 Teams per college.
• A team can comprise of 2 – 3 members
• TIME DURATION : 1:30 Hrs
• You will be provided with '1' - 100 watts bulb. other materials for the lamp will not be provided.
• Judges decision will be final. Any violation will result in elimination.

Marks will be assessed based on Design complexity, Visual appearance / beauty, Creativity in material usage.
