“ASTRA 2022” -A two day intracollegiate cultural extravaganza was organized by Paavai Institutions under the student activity forum AURA and SPARISM on 05.05.2022 and 06.05.2022 for all three engineering college students headed by Director Student Affairs. Director Student Affairs cum ASTRA convener Ar.Avanti Natarajan welcomed the gathering. In Astra’22,all three engineering college students were grouped as three teams namely Paavai Warriors, Paavai Troopers and Paavai Crusaders. Chairman CA. N.V. Natarajan presided over the inaugural function, Inaugurated “Astra’22” and delivered the presidential address. In his presidential address, he stated that Astra’22 serves as a platform to improvise their skills and interest towards cultural activities. He also added that more than being a normal cultural fest, it will give the students some good experiences to shape their creativity and talents. He also included that these type of cultural fest will encourage and motivate younger minds to overcome fear and hesitation. In-addition he insisted that perseverance with determination will help them to succeed in life and become achievers.ASTRA’22was designed with a total of 40+ grand events grouped under 12 categories like Dance, Music, Singing, Dramatics, Pattimandram, Fashion Runway, Art Attack, Sports etc .These events were conducted to prove students’ strength and unity in this competitive cultural environment.Smt.
