The society of all department Engineers of the Departments of Aero, Agri, Chemical, Civil, CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, MBA and MCA of Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal, conducted the national-level technical symposium ‘TECHFINIX’16’ on September 29 and 30.
More than 1,000 students from various engineering colleges in and around Tamil Nadu attended the symposium. Events such as paper and project presentation, technical quiz, circuit debugging, CAD modelling and logo design were organized during the event.
Presiding over the inaugural function, Shri. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, congratulated the students for their hard work in organizing the symposium.
The symposium was inaugurated by Mr. M.Siva Kumar, CEO, ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, on September 29. He said the students with skills would have ample job opportunities and spoke on the role played by such symposium in improving the aptitude of students.
Mr. Shashikanth Jayaraman, Founder, HR Sangam, Chennai, was invited to honor the function. He said the technical fest is intended to provide a common national platform for all engineering and management students in the country to innovate, share and experience their technical skills and knowledge.
The souvenir of ‘TechFinix’16’ was released by the chief guests. Followed by the Inaugural function, various events were held after the inaugural function.
