The Valedictory function of ‘TechFinix’16’ was held on 30^th September 2016.

Speaking at the Valedictory function, Ms. Masha Nazeen, Young Scientist, Masha Innovation Center, has given motivational talks on innovation. Masha underlined the fact that the school kids in India lack proper guidance and support for their interest in science models. She also said, Teachers and Parental support for such activities are very rare in India due to the academic syllabus pressure. According to Masha, Indian class rooms need to change the scenario with innovative study tools which are student centric and provide a study environment which is more vibrant and practical oriented.

Chief Guest Mr. Arun Krishnamurthy, Environmental activist, in his speech:

“People think that by the click of a Facebook like button they can save tigers or turtles, which is absurd. We need to get to the ground to work. Education has made no difference in responsible living. We are trying to target and rope in those who wish to live responsibly.
We are trying really hard to infuse the practice of volunteering, in which we are making very little inroads. People find some reason or the other to skip any sort of volunteering but still claim that they are concerned about the environment. The next time when you get an invite or a message calling for volunteers for an environment-related activity, step out and participate.”

Finally, Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners.
