The 79th Independence Day celebration was held at Paavai Educational Institutions. The programme began with Tamil Thai Vazhthu followed by the flag song. The Founder and Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions, Shri CA N.V.Natarajan, hoisted the National Flag and inaugurated the celebration. This was followed by the administration of the pledge by all.

The Founder and Chairman Shri CA N.V.Natarajan delivered the presidential address. In his Independence Day speech, he conveyed his greetings, saying, “My 79th Independence Day wishes to all of you. Before India attained independence, it was under British rule for nearly 200 years. However, due to the relentless efforts of our freedom fighters, India gained independence in 1947. Leaders have envisioned that by the year 2047, our nation will emerge as a strong and self-reliant country. For this, you, the younger generation, must develop self-confidence, identify your talents, and refine your hard work, rights, and responsibilities to lead society on the path of progress.

You must also nurture unity, humanity, harmony, and equality in society. As society progresses step by step, our nation too will advance. You should possess high ideals and contribute to making our India a strong nation both economically and democratically. As citizens of a free India, you must free yourselves from inferiority, fear of failure, and negative thoughts, and instead cultivate positive thinking. When you follow these values, you will grow individually and uplift the nation. Then, India will stand tall among the nations of the world. At the same time, we must shape ourselves in such a way that no one can take away our hard work, our possessions, or our rights. I wish you all success in life as you move forward with unity, compassion, kindness, and respect.”

The celebration concluded gracefully with the National Anthem.
