25th Youth Festival on National Integration

The 25th Paavai Youth Festival on National Integration was celebrated at Paavai Educational Institutions on 23.01.2026. More than 1,855 students from 58 Government High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools, Government-Aided Schools, and 21 Private (Matriculation and CBSE) schools, along with 171 school teachers, totaling 2,026 participants from Namakkal and Salem districts, participated in the celebration.

Nine competitions such as Oratorical, Essay Writing, Poetry, Quiz, Drawing, Rangoli, Dance, Singing, and Science Projects were conducted separately for Government and Private schools.

The Director–Administration, Shri K. K. Ramasamy, welcomed the gathering. The Chairman, Paavai Institutions, Shri CA N. V. Natarajan, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he mentioned that every Indian should be proud to be an Indian, exhibit patriotism towards the country, and have faith in God. He emphasized the importance of participating in such competitions under various themes, stating that these events help students understand societal nature and problems. He appreciated the creativity, imagination, and thinking capacity of the student participants and expressed his wish that every student should become a responsible citizen. He advised students to respect parents, teachers, and elders in society and stressed that every student should receive quality education and grow into a noble person.

The Correspondent Madam, Smt. Mangai Natarajan, felicitated the student participants. In her felicitation address, she stated that the youth festival was organized to bring out the skills of school children and to promote national integration through interaction among students on the campus.

The Director–Admissions, Director–Research, Dean–Counseling, Dean–Academics, Event Coordinators, Principal of Paavai College of Education, Principals and staff members of Paavai Group of Institutions, Heads of Departments, Assistant Professors, and B.Ed. students took part in the function.

Prizes and certificates for the winners who secured first, second, and third places in each competition were distributed by the dignitaries.

Students and participating school teachers provided enthusiastic feedback and lauded the management for the excellent arrangements. The hospitality extended to the participants was highly appreciated.

Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, proposed the vote of thanks. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
