Technical Event on “Tech Trials”

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, in collaboration with the Microbytes Innovation Club, organized a technical event titled “Tech Trials” on April 02, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event aimed to enhance students’ problem-solving, logical thinking, and analytical skills through a structured solo competition. A total of 109 students participated actively.

The competition was conducted in three rounds. Round 1 was a quiz on General Knowledge, Science, and Sports, from which 15 participants were shortlisted. Round 2, the Black Box Challenge, included 10 questions to be solved in 15 minutes, where participants identified systems based on input, process, and output; 5 finalists were selected from this round. Round 3 was an Auction Round, where participants strategically bid points to answer questions with varying difficulty levels.

Overall, the event successfully improved participants’ logical reasoning, decision-making, and time management skills. It encouraged independent thinking, boosted confidence, and provided a competitive platform for students to showcase their analytical and technical abilities.
