A Motivation speech and Question – answer session on the title ‘Youth Empowerment and Leadership’ was conducted for the students in Paavai Educational Institutions on 13.10.2018. Padmashri, Padmabhusan and actor Dr.Kamalahasan, the president of ‘Makkal Neethi Maiyam’ was the chief guest. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. He delivered the welcome speech as well as the presidential address. Smt.Mangai Natarajan lighted the Kuthuvilakku and formally inaugurated the function.The Chief guest Dr.Kamalahasan, in his Keynote address, openly expressed his immense happiness to see how the Paavai Group of Educational Institutions, as a family, in moulding its students and raising their standard and level both in education and discipline. He told the students that they should not only be the followers. But also, be the leaders in executing the task of regaining our unity, sovereignty and all the resources. He asked the students to choose between education and public life and continue to travel in their journey of life. The students should get ready to act as a key to open the intelligence of our nation. Dr.Kamalahasan rightly warned the students that they should use technology only for good reasons and not for any greedy actions. They should use their technology for the improvement and the sustenance of agriculture. He further advised the students that, like Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, they must safeguard all the resources by their knowledge and science and safety hand over to their next generation as a gift. They have to live a meaningful life through human life is prove to certain limitations such as death.Next, Dr.Kamalahasan told the students that they should take the responsibility to make the people understand the dangers of getting money for votes. Gandhism political thought and principle pulverized the British Empire. Similarly, the young students by their strong will-power, have to weed out all the social evils in order to raise the image of Tamilnadu and in India. After his keynote address, Dr.Kaamalahasan gave clear and acceptable answers to all the Intelligent and relevant questions posed by the boys and girls of Paavai Institutions. Next, Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presented a bouquet and also a memento to the chief guest Dr.Kamalahasan. Smt.Mangai Natarajan gave the vote of thanks and the programme ended smoothly with the National Anthem. Ms.Sheethal Gandhi, Mr.T.R.Palanivel, Secretary, Dr.Ramakrishnan, Treasurer, Mr.K.Senthil, Director Admissions, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Dr.C.Sathish, Director, Paavai Vidhyashram, Principals, Deans, Heads of Departments, Professors, Special guests, Staff and students participated and made the programme a grand success.
