The Tamil forum of Paavai Educational Institutions organised the “திருக்குறள் வினாடி வினா” in a grandiose manner at Anandha Arangam on 10.06.2024. The essence of this programme was to guide individuals toward a life of virtue and wisdom through the broader philosophical and ethical teachings of Thirukural. The programme commenced with a prayer song followed by tamilthaivazithu. Ms.Divyadharshini from second year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science welcomed everyone. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman,Paavai Educational Institutions presided over the function. Dr. Manimegalai Ramamourty, a Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology, USA, graced the event as the Chief Guest. In her speech, she highlighted how “Thirukural” serves as a beacon of guidance for everyone in challenging times. She insisted the importance of Tamil Literature and elucidated about the oldest language. She added that all youngsters must create a wonderful society by promoting the excellence of Thirukural to the community.
Students from Pavai Arts and Science College for Women participated in two teams, “மருதம்” and “முல்லை” representing the profound cultural and emotional heritage of Tamil literature landscapes. First prize was bagged by “முல்லை” team followed by “மருதம்”. The Chief Guest masterfully conducted the “வினாடி வினா”, in an extraordinary manner. Both teams excelled, demonstrating their critical thinking, decision-making abilities and were awarded cash prizes. Finally, Smt.Mangai Natarajan, the Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions felicitation the gathering. Paavai always strives to promote the moral, ethical growth and increased academic engagement through such programmes. The programme ended with a vote of thanks and all the Directors, Principals, Deans, Heads of various departments, Professors, overall Program coordinator graced the event.
