The Launch of Campus to Career Programme was organized by Paavai Engineering College and CII-IWN on 29.06.2022.The Programmestarted in the presence of Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, Guests MrsHema Mani, Chair, IWN-TN, Ms.Rajalakshmi, Co-Chair, IWN-TN, Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Institutions, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions,Smt.Avanthi Natarajan, Director-Student Affairs, Paavai Institutions, Prof.M.Mohan, First Year HoD, Paavai Engineering College, CII Faculty Coordinator Mrs.A.Samundeeswari, AsP, ECE, Paavai Engineering College, along with the students of all the Colleges of Paavai Institutions.

Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions, welcomed the gathering.

Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over function and delivered the presidential address. In his address, he stated that the gap between the campus and career will be narrow downed by IWN-TN with the initiatives taken by Smt.Avanthi Natarajan, Director-Student Affairs, Paavai Institutions. He briefed the expectations of Parents about their children in terms of education, placement and getting an appropriate job. He said the efforts taken by the college and organization like CII-IWN(TN) motivated the students from all types of educational and Social background to get benefitted in a great manner. He highlighted Paavai Institutions is a student centric institution, guiding the students on the right path and to the right destiny.

Smt.Avanthi Natarajan, Director-Student Affairs, Paavai Institutions, briefly explained the setting of the Context about the launch of C2C.She stated that right from the inception of students in Paavai Institutions, training for their future career starts. In her speech, she said Paavai Institutionsis an ideal setting environment for learning, developing and shaping place for the students. She explained that initially students may face some curves and difficulties, which are addressed immediately and corrective measures are being taken right from day 1 in the campus. She concluded that the final year students are ensured that they are Industry ready graduates. 

MrsHema Mani, Chair, IWN-TN, gave the special address. She explained about the percentage of women in Industry. She clearly stated that the proportion of women being educated from schools, entrance exams with respect to women in industry is inverse. She highlighted the participation of women in all the domains of industries and societal postions.

Ms.Rajalakshmi, Co-Chair, IWN-TN,gave an orientation on C2C. She started her speech with a quote by Dr.A.P.J.AbdulKalam, Former President of India as never stop dreaming about your future and chase your dreams without sleeping. She explained about her own experiences in interviews and about Human Resource processes. She highlighted about her career in which how she started understanding the motto of HR as well as the recruitment process of engineering graduates and polytechnic graduates for different positions in an organization.

Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Institutions, felicitated the gathering. In her felicitation, she explained thatwomen should not be dependent and comparable with the other gender. She stated that girl children must be taught about their strengths and weakness right from childhood.She said the the girls must believe their strength and carry their life in a best way and achieve their goals to serve the nation.

Ms. SafaFarin, II year B.E. Biomedical Engineering briefed the profiles of the guests.CII Faculty Coordinator Mrs.A.Samundeeswari, AsP, ECE, Paavai Engineering College, proposedthe vote of thanks.
