The launch of the Campus to Career Programme was organized by Paavai Engineering College in collaboration with CII-IWN on 05.09.2024. The event commenced in the presence of Shri CA N.V. Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Institutions; Ms. Krithika Shivakumar, Chairwoman of IWN-TN; Ms. Dilshad Azim, Senior Learning Partner at Grundfos Pump & Lead C2C Vertical; Ms. Savitha Kesav Jagadeesan, Senior Resident Partner at Kochhar & Co; Ms. Arthi Raguram, Founder of Deyga Organics; Ms. Uma Veeramani, Co-Lead of Campus to Career IWN-TN; Ms. Roopa Sripathy, Convenor of IWN Salem & Director at ANS Dhivyam; Ms. V. Saelvizhi, Co-Convenor of IWN Salem; Dr. K.K. Ramasamy, Director of Administration at Paavai Institutions; and Smt. Avanthi Natarajan, Director of Student Affairs at Paavai Institutions, along with the principals of Paavai Institutions and students from various colleges of Paavai Institutions.
Smt. Avanthi Natarajan, Director of Student Affairs at Paavai Institutions, welcomed the gathering. Shri CA N.V. Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Institutions, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he emphasized that this pioneering program would boost students’ confidence during interviews and assist them in becoming entrepreneurs. He encouraged students to actively participate and engage in discussions throughout the session.
Ms. Krithika Shivakumar, Chairwoman of IWN-TN, briefly outlined the platforms that IWN covers, including leadership, health and well-being, and campus-to-career initiatives. She discussed the mentoring system linked with CII-IWN and inspired the students to dream big. She concluded by stating, “Women supporting women: advancing towards development and growth.”
Ms. Dilshad Azim, Senior Learning Partner at Grundfos Pump & Lead C2C Vertical, introduced the Campus to Career (C2C) initiative. She expressed her gratitude before outlining the topics that would be covered in the C2C sessions. She highlighted the various stages of life that women experience and the importance of facing each stage with courage.
Ms. Arthi Raguram, Founder of Deyga Organics, provided a brief overview of her product line, emphasizing the natural ingredients that set them apart. She explained how each product is crafted with care to enhance skin health and overall wellness. Deyga Organics is particularly valuable for the younger generation, as it aligns with their growing preference for natural and eco-friendly products, supports their skin health with gentle ingredients, and promotes sustainable choices. This helps them build healthy habits and make informed decisions about their well-being.
The launch session of the Campus to Career vertical successfully introduced a comprehensive program designed to bridge the knowledge gap between academic study and professional employment. The program aims to equip students with the tools, resources, and support needed to successfully transition into the workforce.
