The 22nd Paavai Youth festival on National integration was celebrated at Paavai Educational Institutions on 03-02-2023. More than 1300 students from Higher Secondary and High school of Rasipuram , Namakkal and Salem have participated in the celebration. Nine competitions such as oratorical, essay writing, poetry, quiz, drawing, rangoli, dance, singing and science projects were conducted for both Government and Matriculation schools separately.
The welcome address was proposed by Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, The Director-administration Paavai Institutions. Smt.P.Maheswari, Chief Educational Officer, Namakkal was the Chief guest. The Chairman, Paavai institutions Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he mentioned that everyone should be proud to be an Indian. He also remarked on the imaginative and thinking capacity of the student participants. He expressed his wish that each student in the Arangam should become socially responsible citizens of the world by becoming either an Engineer/Physician/lawyer/ teacher or any profession. The chief guest remarked that all students should fly high in their career like butterflies and lead a peaceful life.
The Correspondent Madam Smt. Mangai Natarajan felicitated the student participants. In her felicitation, she said that this festival is celebrated to bring out the skills of school children and to practice integration by interacting with each other in this campus. She insisted that each one should own his / her words and deeds, and everybody should have self esteem which is the key for self-development.
The Vice-Chairman Shri.T.R.Manisekaran, Secretary Shri.T.R. Palanivel, The Director Admissions Shri.K.Senthil, The Director-Administration Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Dean, Principals, Heads and Staff of Paavai institutions took part in the function.Prizes and certificates for the winners in each competition were distributed by the dignitaries.Students and participating school teachers gave the feedback about the conduct of the programme and lauded the Management for all the arrangements done by them. The hospitality too was appreciated by them. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Smt.P.Poongothai , Principal Paavai College of Education.
