The 19th graduation ceremony for the graduates of Paavai Engineering College, was organized in a grandiose manner on 28.09.2024 from 10.30a.m. to 1.30p.m. at Anandha Arangam. Shri. CA.N.V. Natarajan, The Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function and declared the convocation open. Ms.Radhika Ravi, India Head, Campus Hiring, Wipro Technologies, was the chief guest of the day. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, The Correspondent, Paavai Institutions, lighted the kuthuvilakku along with the dignitaries on the dias. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions welcomed the gathering.
In the presidential address, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions appreciated and applauded the graduates and parents. He emphasised that parents, students, teachers, society and finally the management forms the five faces of the kuthuvilaku to which, utmost importance is given in Paavai. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Associate Professor and Head, ECE introduced the Chief guest Ms.Radhika Ravi, India Head, Campus Hiring, Wipro Technologies. The chief guest, in her keynote address congratulated the graduates of Paavai Institutions who had got the opportunity to undergo world class education in this wonderful environment. She insisted the graduates to be constructive thinkers and always work with self-confidence and perseverance. She emphasized the importance of agility, unlearning and relearning, fostering innovation, embracing technology, and effective networking She stressed the importance of engineering education and lifelong learning to all the graduates. She also emphasized about the quality of being humble and grateful to others.
All the graduates were awarded with degree certificates and the University rank holders, department toppers were awarded with gold coins and medals. Earlier, the Chairman and Secretary, Paavai Institutions, presented the memento and shawl to the chief guest. The graduates were administered with the convocation pledge by the President of the convocation ceremony and later it was dissolved. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College.
The Vice Chairman, Thiru Manisekaran, Secretary, Thiru Palanivel, Director Administrations, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Admissions, Thiru K.Senthil, Deans, Principals, Controller of Examinations, Heads of various Departments, Faculty members, graduates and parents were present in the graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony ended with National anthem by the students.
