தமிழ் பெருங்கனவு was held on 24.02.2023

To convey the richness of the Tamil tradition, the richness of the culture, the understanding of the changes that have occurred from time to time, and to fully convey to the young generation the important elements of the culture such as art, literature, education, lifestyle in harmony with nature, a grand program “தமிழ் பெருங்கனவு” was planned to be held in hundred places across Tamil Nadu on behalf of the Tamil Development Department.  As a part of this, a lecture was held on 24.02.2023 in Pavai Educational Institutions on the topic of “மாபெரும் தமிழ் பெருங்கனவு” as planned by Namakkal District Administration.

The ceremony started with the Prayer song and Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Namakkal District Collector Mrs. Shreya P Singh, presided over the ceremony. CA.N.V. Natarajan, the Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions felicitated the gathering. Writer and director Mr.Bharathi Krishnakumar and the President of Erode Makkal Sinthanai Peravai Mr. Stalin Gunasekaran participated as special speakers.

The Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions honoured District Collector Smt. Shreya P Singh with a memento.  The writer Mr.Bharathi Krishnakumar addressed on the topic “தமிழ் என்றோர் இனமுண்டு”. He said in his discourse said, “Learning should be a continuous event in your lives as students, because learning will teach you civility. Also listening is very important in learning. This listening trait will take you to higher platforms. For that, you must first become an expert in the mother tongue and respect it, because our Tamil language is the language that has literary definitions and is a three thousand years old language that is still in use today” He wished the students to develop their knowledge well, be hard-working and strive and improve in life like Stephen Hawkins.

Mr. Stalin Gunasekaran delivered a keynote speech on the topic “அறிவை விரிவு செய்”.  In his speech he said, This “மாபெரும் தமிழ் பெருங்கனவு” is a good start. This will create a better future change. By using such excellent discourses, you students should become better educators and speakers. For that you need to be well versed in any activity to develop your knowledge. Beyond your academics and first marks, your efforts and training should be purposeful. If you put all your thought, desire and commitment into improving your knowledge, you can become noble” He wished the students all the best in life. said my greetings to all of you.

Earlier, the District Collector presented certificates to the students. Subsequently, the Revenue District Collector presented mementos to the special guests. A special book fair and career guidance centers were set up on the occasion of the event. The function concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Dr.J.Thavamani followed by National Anthem.
