Review & Re-View

The Review and Re-view programme was organized for 2nd year engineering students. The orientation programme REVIEW AND RE-VIEW started with an ice breaking session wherein the students were splitted into different groups and were assigned with a task. They had various slogans for their groups such as “Be a voice not an echo and “Thirst to success” , which ended with a war cry .Then the session continued with an inaugural address from Chairman sir who pinpointed the importance of goal setting which plays an important role in every one’s life. The students need to be focused and obsessed on their goals and aim right from the first year and it should continue till the final year. By doing so it will help them to handle recession period in any field.He also added that this orientation programme will make the students to review their short term and long term goals and also to re-view them whether they are on track.

The first session was a combined one handled by (Karthick ) .He gave a recap of what was done in goal setting orientation session and Time Management. The sessions by Mr. Ramesh made the students to realize the missed opportunities and Winning moments in their life, the setbacks undergone and what should be the action plan taken to avoid those setbacks. An activity was done where four to five students were selected and they were asked to pinpoint the strength and weakness of their friends. By highlighting the strengths the students were invigorated and moved .They were also given landfills to rectify their weakness.

The afternoon session by Nazar was a task related to Hesitancy and Incitement.the procedures that should be followed before we proceed for any invitation.He also focused on the importance of i) Care ii) Respect iii)Acceptance iv)Values v)Encouragement and vi)Understanding .He added that one with a pleasant smile, openness, forwardness in doing a task, the eye contact and responsiveness from our behavior’s will bring progression in our field.

Final session was handled by Karthick .He insisted the concept of Domino effect which will give flourishing results and makes a change in our behavior as it results in chain reaction in all our tasks which we do.. He stressed the importance of Time Management and the patience to achieve great heights.
