Republic Day - 2018

On behalf of Paavai Educational Institutions, the 69^th Republic Day of our Nation was celebrated in a colourful and grand manner. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, hoisted the National Flag and accepted the guard of honour (march past) by Paavai students. The Chairman, in his Republic Day speech, said that “In this 69th Republic Day, while we are taking the oath, we feel proud for being an Indian. In this great occasion we remember the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom warriors and we must follow their principles. After the Independence of our country, we have rights in our words, behavior and life style. We utilize our freedom and rights only for good things. The Indian constitution framed by Mr. Ambedkar is useful for people’s well being, independent life and to avoid the caste discrimination. We avoid selfishness in our society and have social unity for our country’s improvement. We always keep our respect, for our teachers and parents. Last year, Our Student miss.Rajalakshmi participated in Delhi Republic Day Parade and This year Miss.Divyaprabha participates in the parade. She is the only student from Coimbatore Zone of Anna University. My heartfelt greetings for her Talent and Patriotism”. As a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, certificates were issued for the students who donated blood, and to Mr.Sakthivel who got Rs.50,000 cash prize as Indira Gandhi Award for best NSS volunteer and also to Paavai polytechnic basket ball team which got State level championship continuously for 8 years, were issued by Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Shri.T.R.Manisekaran, Vice Chairman, Shri.T.R.Palanivel, Secretary, Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Shri.K.Senthil, Director-Admissions, Prof.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Mr.S.Srinivasan, Director (P&T). Deans and Principals, COE’s, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff and students participated in the celebration. This function ended with the National Anthem.
