The Placement Day was celebrated on 24.06.2022 in Paavai Group of Institutions. The programme started with the Prayer Song. The programme was headed by the Chairman of the Institutions, Mr. CA N V Natarajan and he gave the Presidential Address. The Chief Guest of the Day was Mr.Suresh Krishnamoorthy President and CEO of India Cements Capital Private Ltd., Ms. V C Sushma, Final Year Civil Engineering student gave the Welcome Address.
Mr. Suresh Krishnamoorthy gave the Key Note Address of the Day. He told that he was impressed on seeing the students with their company offer letters. In the Army, how the battalions after their completion of their training will be honored, in the similar way he felt happy to see the students who got placed in various companies based on their abilities. Like Thiruvalluvar said in Thirukkural, that whatever was learnt by the students in the college, should be followed and implemented in the work also to get success in the career. And the students should be punctual, hardworking, dedicated, and honest in their work. Not only that the students should be confident, brave, involvement in work, be in the good books of the company and climb up in the ladders of company’s hierarchy.
The students being an engineer and going to be a business magnet, must be well versed in the current technologies and be ready to implement the same in the work. Keeping the changes in technology, culture, situation in the work place, the students should be able to adapt to these carefully and implement the new ideas. The students should share the new ideas and thoughts with the colleagues and be a good team member. Moreover a student should be trustworthy, loyal person who is productive and be the best employee whom the company doesn’t want to lose. He wished that every student must have a positive attitude and grow further in their upcoming career.
The Correspondent of Paavai Group of Institutions, gave away the Felicitation Address. Before that the Chief Guest was honoured with the Memento by the Chairman of the Paavai Group of Institutions.
The Chief Guest and the Chairman of the Paaavai Group of Institutions, distributed the job offer letters of various companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, TCS, CTS to 2049 placed students.
Finally, Ms. A. Kaushika, final year Bio Medical Engineering student gave away the Vote of Thanks. The programme was whole heartedly concluded with the National Anthem.
In this function the Director – AdminDr.K.K. Ramaswamy, Admission Director Mr. K. Senthil and the Placement Head Mr.R.Thamaraiselvan along with the Principal of various Paavai Colleges, HOD’s, Professors and students participated in the function.
