Paavai Engineering College hosted a two day National Level Technical symposium PECMA’2K18 on 24.4.18 and 25.4.18 for the first year students to fortify the students with exuberant knowledge in the fields of Physics, English, Chemistry and Mathematics. The inaugural function started with the grand teaser. Smt.Mangai Natarajan Correspondent of Paavai Institutions along with other dignitaries lighted the kuthuvilaku. R.Sweshikhafrom First year ECE welcomed the gathering. Chairman, Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan gave his presidential address. Dr.R.Jayavel, Director, Centre of Research, Anna University, Chennai gave the keynote address and unveiled the screen of PECMA’2K18
Many events were organized in PECMA’2K18. It motivated the participants to participate with utmost enthusiasm. The events organized in PECMA’2K18 were Technical Quiz, Project Expo, Short Film, Debate, Dumb Charade, Turn Coat, Su-do-ku& Puzzles, Fun Games, and Treasure Hunt. For Paper presentation event, many abstracts were received out of which few were shortlisted for presentation. The panels of Juries for this event were from reputed Institutions.
In the Valedictory function, Participants from various colleges gave their feedback. Correspondent madam felicitated the gathering. Prize winners were awarded and R. Abinaya from First ECE gave the vote of thanks.
