Techmandra’16, a National level Technical Symposium was organized by the Society of Civil, ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical & Mechatronics Departments of Pavai College of Technology on September 2,2016. Mr.Sankar Sundaralingam, Senior Manager & HR of Bosch & Siemens Home Appliances, Chennai was the Chief guest for this programme. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions, presided over the inaugural function of Techmandra’16 . Ms.G.Mahalakshmi of final ECE welcomed the gathering. During her presidential address, she focused on the importance of organizing symposium and responsibility of engineers to the society. She highlighted that “Attitude determines the Altitude” and one must be proud to be an Engineer.
At this juncture, Chief guest enlightened the gathering that success in one’s career can be achieved by focusing on Formula of “ABCDEH”, which refers to Attitude, Basic skills, Culture & courage ,Discipline, Entrepreneur & Happiness, Health. He also added that culture must never be compensated for the sake of employment. He concluded with the fact that, hard work is the key to success. During the Valedictory session, Winners from other Institutions were awarded with cash prizes & certificates for various events. The function came to an end with vote of thanks given by Mr. D.Sathish Kumar of Final Mechanical Engineering.
