Paavai College of Engineering - TechFest 2K16

Paavai College of Engineering, Namakkal organized a National level Technical symposium TECHFEST 2K16 under AURA on 17.9.2016.  Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. He appreciated the students for organizing the symposium in a perfect manner with great and tireless efforts. He added that by this symposium the students should have to develop their organization skills and presentation skills.

The Chief Guest Shri.R.Sundram, Founder & Managing Director of ‘The Salem Aero park’- Aerospace Engineers Pvt Ltd., Salem, in his inaugural address shared his experiences with Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Mr.Rakesh Sharma, India’s first Astronaut. He said that the idea to start the Aerospace industry was seeded in him by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. He added that every one of us could become an entrepreneur by bringing out innovations and should make India the Supreme Power by 2020.  He advised the students to provide solutions to eradicate the necessity of importing products. He said that by using the technology in their hands in a productive way, each student can explore in their area of interests and can make wonders.

Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions in her felicitations insisted the students to think differently and creatively  for bringing  betterment to the  society. She expressed her wish to start a Sub unit of an Industry on our campus to train the students and to develop industrial projects by themselves.

Mr.K.Senthil,Director-Admissions,Dr.K.K.Ramasamy,Director-Administration,  Mrs.Avanthi Natarajan, Director-Students Affairs, Dr. M.Devi, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, Dr.J.Sundarrajan, Principal, Pavai College of Technology , Deans and COEs of Paavai Institutions took part and graced the occasion.  Also, Heads of various Departments, Professors, Students and participants from various colleges attended the function. Earlier, Mr.R.Santhosh Kumar,Third year Civil Engineering, welcomed the gathering and Ms. R.Poornima of  Final year Civil Engineering  read out the prelude of Techfest2K16.  Finally, Mr.K.Chandra Segar of Third year Mechanical Engineering delivered the vote of thanks.
