Paavai Institutions organized the first edition of Entrepreneurship Development programme (Edition I) along with a Memorandum of Understanding with Startup-Payanam on 19.04.2022.The event started with an Audio Visual presentation of KalaiVentharPanthalR.Siva.The programme commenced with a Prayer song along with TamilthaiVazthu. Shmt.MangaiNatrajan ,Correspondent along with other dignitaries lighted the KuthuVilaku. The welcome address was given by Ms.S.U.Sushma,Final year B.E. –Civil Engineering. Shri.N.V.Natrajan,Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over the function. In his presidential address, he stated that he has taken the role of grooming the younger generation from their parents to his shoulders. He added “Paavai Institutions” is being designed to train students at various levels to reach their goals. He also mentioned that the MoU with Startup-Payanam will lead to colourful innovations and young entrepreneurs from Paavai.
The Chief Guest Kalai VentharR.Siva gave the special address. In his address, he expressed his happiness about his works over 50 years with 10 Presidents, 10 Prime Ministers, 25 Chief Ministers. He spoke about the articles and appreciations received from various magazines like Times of India, Ananda Vikatan, Junior Vikatan. He explained about his success story, where he started from scratch and is now marvelling at today’s sophisticated arenas.He also added that hard work, commitment, respecting everybody, courage, accepting one’s mistakes will lead to success in their path.He also added that he is in the good book of all politicians and was appreciated for his decorations and pandal works for various conferences and ceremonies. He insisted that “Education is the key to success” for one’s life.
The Keynote address was given by R.G.Nawin Krishna, Co-Founder, Start-Up Payanam. He explained about his success through lot of struggles and failures which he took them as lessons for his growth. He elucidated about his “Entrepreneur Community” comprising of 49,000 entrepreneurs all over the world. He also stated that “Startup-Payanam” is a platform for future entrepreneurs and there are two levels of guidance available i)Mentoring, Collaboration, sharing expertise and Internships ii)Ideologies to receive Funds and Grants from Government and Non-Government organisations.
Felicitation address was given by Shmt. Mangai Natrajan , Correspondent, Paavai Institutions . She specified the importance of education in today’s life . Our students should be trust worthy persons with good listening and observation capabilities.She insisted the importance of gaining knowledge from resource persons like Pandal Siva and Mr.Nawin Krishna and from those who are being regularly invited to Paavai. Paavai mantra “Own our words and deeds” is a global standard which is being followed by all Paavains. She also added that education must be value added through real time technological innovations and it must be the soul of success. She stated that in near future, Paavai Techno Park will be established and will be the place of start-ups and innovations.
The Vote of thanks was given by Daya. Sri .S from Final year Aeronautical Engineering and the programme ended with National Anthem.
