On 27th September 2018, a special address on Thisaiyettum Thalai Vanangum was conducted in Anandha Arangam at 2.00 pm. The programme commenced with the prayer song. Ms. S.Nithya Shree of I B.A. English welcomed the gathering. The Chairman of Paavai Institutions honoured the guest speaker with shawl and in his presidential address, he asked the students to acclaim womenfolk and keep on learning, since education earns everything in the world. He insisted them to propagate their knowledge and improve their leadership quality so as to create peace in the society. The Correspondent of Paavai Institutions felicitated the gathering. In her felicitation she asked the students to identify their potentials, challenge their weakness and rise to height through knowledge. She also said that students have enormous ability to face obstacles and oppositions in life. Revenge is not a solution and they should find the root of their problems and root it out. Students should respect their parents who introduced them to the world and their teachers who introduced the world to them. She concluded her speech saying that students of Pavai should remember their purpose, spread their positivity and should be in a high position to decide on and command in the society. Ms. S.Shanmugapriya of II M.A. English introduced the chief guest. The Guest speaker Mr. P.Kathirvelu, Human Resource Development Trainer, Erode in his keynote address said that women were praiseworthy and had equal rights like men years ego but now women are outlawed from enjoying certain rights. He cited three real life examples stating that one’s background is not weakness, life is for living not sustaining and one should wait for the right opportunity to win. He also asked the students to dream big with determination and pointed out that their parents’ dreams are untold stories and their sacrifices are untold sufferings. They shed their sweats, tears and blood for the betterment of their progeny. So he asked the students to be true to their parents, respect their teachers who are their ladders and be grateful to the society which provides them ample opportunities to progress. He concluded his speech appealing the students to be kind enough even to forgive the enemies, which is the highest quality that makes the whole world bow their heads towards womenfolk. Ms. M.Jenifa of I B.A. English proposed the vote of thanks. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
