The inaugural function for the first year MBA classes, Paavai Engineering College, was held at 10.a.m. on 24th August, 2016 at the college premises. The function started with a prayer song.
Smt.N.Mangai Natarajan,Correspondent, Paavai Institutions, lit the Kuthuvilakku as a symbol of divine. Dr.M.PremKumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College welcomed the gathering. The Correspondent inaugurated the function and delivered the inaugural address. She pointed out that doing MBA in Paavai is different from other institutions. Paavai will provide a good platform for the students to improve their knowledge and skills in management. She advised the students to utilize the facilities more effectively and equip themselves for facing the challenges in management.
She also emphasized various skills required for the managers and the simple ways of acquiring them. She insisted that students should respect their parents and elders and be more responsible in their work. Finally, she said experience is the best teacher. Students should aspire to learn more from the experience of others as well as from themselves.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.P.Rekha Preethi, HoD, MBA, Paavai Engineering College. At the end, Padha Pooja was performed by all the first year students to their parents.
