Let your Achievements make History

In the Women Empowerment Series on 28th February 2019, a special address on “Let Your Achievements Make History” was conducted in Anandha Arangam at 2.00 pm. The programme commenced with the prayer song. Ms. P.Ramya Bharathi of III B.A. English welcomed the gathering. The Chairman of Paavai Institutions in his presidential address asked the students to achieve a lot in their life by following the nuances of success and make history to speak their achievements. The Correspondent of Paavai Institutions felicitated the gathering. In her felicitation, she stated that Women especially teachers have super power to change the society. She proudly asserted that students of Pavai are not ordinary women and are worthy enough to appreciate and accomplish whatever given to them. She also said that women are killing themselves by misusing the social media, which masks their knowledge and are confining themselves with the thought that they are dominated by the opposite gender. She concluded her speech by asking the students to improve their power of language and leadership, have research focus and create history by becoming women administrators in the society. Ms. S.Anusha of II B.A. English introduced the chief guest. The Guest speaker Dr.G.Subramanian, Professor of English, Motivator and HR Facilitator, in his speech said, “History is written about victory by victors. The moment the students learn to choose the choice of being the most successful with right attitude is the moment they start writing their history. Many successful leaders like Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Larry Page, Kiran Bedi, J.Jayalalitha and Mary Kom created history by making changes. A successful leader should possess the qualities of incessant Learning, ample Energy, assiduous Action, dauntless Daring, extraordinary Excellence and producing positive Results. Questioning the default to improve knowledge and standing up after failure are yet other fine qualities of a change maker. Women are born to create history and do miracles if they will. Women have the freedom of economy, education and empowerment, the courage to stand up and say ‘I am the Change’”. He concluded the speech by appealing the students to think big, take charge of their life and create history by their successful stories. The chairman of Paavai Institutions honoured the chief guest with shawl. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks delivered by S.Vishvapriya of III B.A. English followed by the National Anthem.
