The 20th Graduation Ceremony of Paavai Engineering College was conducted with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with prayer and the Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu. Shri. CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function, inaugurated the ceremony, and delivered the presidential address.
The special guest for the event was Dr. U. Chandrasekar, Vice-Chancellor of Godavari Global University, Andhra Pradesh. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions, inaugurated the event by lighting the Kuthuvilakku. Dr. K.K. Ramasamy, Director of Administration, delivered the welcome address and greeted the attendees.
In his special address, Dr.U. Chandrasekar expressed his joy in witnessing young graduates who are set to become the pillars of the nation. He emphasized:
“As young graduates stepping into various fields, you are the foundation of our nation’s development. Choose a career or profession that aligns with your interests because working in a field you are passionate about will lead you to great achievements. In this era of rapid technological advancements, it is essential to upgrade your skills continuously, as knowledge is the most powerful tool that can create a global impact. Make lifelong learning a habit and contribute to the growth of society. Surround yourself with mentors and friends who inspire and motivate you. While excelling in your respective fields is commendable, strive to find solutions to challenges beyond your domain, as this will enable you to become successful entrepreneurs and create employment opportunities for others. Always be grateful to your parents, college, and teachers, as they are the foundation of your success. I wish you all great success and hope you bring pride and recognition to our nation.”
More than 900 graduates participated in the ceremony. Degrees were conferred upon all graduands, and gold coins were awarded to students who secured the first rank at the college level. Additionally, gold and silver medals, along with certificates, were presented to students who secured the first and second ranks in their respective disciplines.
Prior to the distribution of degrees, Shri. CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, honored the special guest with a memento and a shawl. He then led the new graduates in taking the graduation oath.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, followed by the national anthem.
