Graduation Day for Paavai Engineering College and Paavai College of Education was celebrated on 07.10.2018 in Anandha Arangam of Paavai Institutions. Dr.Kuncheria.P.Issac, former member secretary of AICTE, New Delhi, former vice chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam, Institute of Technology, Kerala, and the present vice chancellor of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (Deemed University), Chennai, was the Chief guest of the function. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function and delivered his presidential address. Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, inaugurated the function by lighting the Kuthuvilakku . Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, welcomed the gathering.The Chief Guest, in his Keynote address, expressed frankly that he got wondered at the ambience of the Paavai Institutions and its lofty aim. He told that getting a degree is not the end of learning. Infact, it is the beginning of learning. The graduates are entering into a world full of opportunities and so they should not waste their time. They have to upgrade themselves and raise their level so as to make use of the modern technology and scientific equipment. They should lead the next generation by being good role models. Moreover, they should come forward to start their own business and industry. They have to develop the attitude of continuous learning with team effort and should not miss the opportunities in their life. Above all, they should be respectful and also grateful towards parents and elders. Next, more than 1300 candidates received their degree certificates and those who got university ranks got gold medals. Those who got the first rank and the second rank in each department were given gold medal, silver medal respectively.Later, the Chairman of Paavai Institutions, made the graduates to take oath. Finally, Dr.M.Devi, principal, Paavai College of Engineering, delivered the vote of thanks and the function ended with the National Anthem. Mr.T.R.Palanivel, Secretary, Dr.N.Ramakrishnan, Treasurer, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director, Administration, Mr.K.Senthil, Director, Admissions, Mr.S.Srinivasan, Director, Placement and Training, Dr.C.Satish, Director, Paavai Group of schools, Principals, Deans, Heads of the departments, Professors, students and parents participated in the function.
