Antenna and wave Propagation:
A one day FDP on “Antenna and wave Propagation” was conducted for the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Paavai Engineering Colleges. Dr.S.Sukumar, Dean Civil, welcomed the gathering and explained the importance of FDP.
First session was handled by Mrs.A.Samundeeswari, Associate Professor,ECE,PEC on the title “Introduction to Antennas” and the faculty members learnt the concepts well. Second session was handled by Mrs.M.Sudha,Assistant Professor, ECE, PEC on “Various types of Antennas”. The members understood the advancements in the area of Antennas.
Third session was handled by Mrs.A.Samundeeswari, Assistant Professor, ECE, PEC on “Antenna Arrays”. Fourth session by Mrs.E.Sangeetha, Assistant Professor, ECE, PEC was on the concept of “propagation of Radio waves”. The members felt that the domain knowledge of the above concepts would be useful for class room presentation.
Dr. K. Selvi, Dean Academics, HoD ECE of PEC and PCT were present during the FDP. Totally nineteen faculty members from ECE department of all engineering colleges attended the programme and interacted with the presenters well during all the sessions.
