Java Programming
A three day FDP on “Java Programming” was conducted for the department of Computer Science and Engineering of Paavai Engineering Colleges. Dr.S.Sukumar, Dean Civil, Paavai Institutions welcomed the gathering and asked the faculty members to use the forum effectively by discussing the facts not restricting to the syllabus but beyond it.
On the first day, the forenoon session was handled by Dr.S.Anthoniraj, HOD/CSE, PCE on the title “Introduction to Java Programming” and “Core Java”. All the faculty members belonging to the department of CSE and IT from PEC, PCE and PCT attended the sessions.Programs based on Java were coded and executed during the afternoon session.
On the second day, the forenoon session was handled by Dr.S.Anthoniraj, HOD/ CSE, PCE on “Client Side Programming (HTML,CSS,JavaScript)”. In the afternoon session, programs were executed on HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
On the third day, all the faculty members implemented the 16 projects given by Dr.K.Selvi, Dean Academics, during the tutorials. The programme was a great success benefiting 34 faculty of CSE and IT.
