A two day FDP on “Python Program” was Organized by FDD and conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. M.RevathiAP/CSE-PEC, M.SivaranjaniAP/CSE-PEC, R.Santhiya, AP/CSE-PEC were the resource people of the FDP. Faculties from PEC, PCE, PCT belonging to the department of CSE, faculties from PEC IT and MCA attended this FDP session. Hands-on-training was given to the participants along with the concept presentation by resource people. The topics covered during the FDP session are mentioned below,
1st day(23.05.2017)
Introduction to programming languages, Basics of Python, Python data variables, operators, control structures, data structures.
After the completion of the lecture on these above mentioned topics, assignment was given by the resource person whom is to be submitted the next day.
2nd day(26.05.2017)
Functions, Class and Inheritance, File handling, Infosys FP 5.0 modules and videos.
Doubts were asked and cleared whereas example programs were executed for each of the topic mentioned above.
After the completion of the session, valedictory program was held in presence of Dr.A.Suphalakshmi, HOD/CSE-PEC and Dr.K.Selvi, Dean Academics who motivated all the staff members to utilize the knowledge gained for further application development and project development.
