Paavai Educational Institutions and Government Hospital, Namakkal jointly organized the Blood Donation Camp on 18.08.18 on the college premises. Dr.A.Anbumalar, Blood Bank Medical Officer, Namakkal, addressed the students to be aware of blood donation and insisted all the students above 18 years of age donate blood regularly. She also explained the usage of donated blood in Government Hospitals freely to poor people. Dr.S.Sudha, Medical officer, Primary Health Centre, Pudhuchattram, Mr.C.Rathnakumar, NSS Programme Officer, Paavai Engineering college and S.Saravanan, NSS Programme Officer, Paavai College of Engineering, were present and encouraged the students to donate blood. The students have donated blood in this camp. In this blood donation camp 130 students were donated their blood.
