The inauguration of the B.Ed. First Year program was held on October 16, 2024, at Brilliant Hall, located within the Paavai College of Engineering Campus.
The program began with a prayer song, followed by the lighting of the Kuthu Vilakku by the Chairman, Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, and Smt. Mangai Natarajan, along with other dignitaries and students. Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director of Administration, extended a warm welcome to the gathering.
The function commenced with the chanting of mantras, invoking blessings from the goddesses. The presidential address was delivered by the Chairman, Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, who emphasized the qualities, roles, and responsibilities of a good teacher. He highlighted how Paavai College of Education empowers future teachers, emphasizing that teachers are second parents to their students. He urged educators to take on the responsibility of nurturing students’ development at every level.
Following this, the Correspondent, Smt. Mangai Natarajan, delivered her felicitation address, where she outlined the salient features and uniqueness of Paavai Institutions.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. K. Senthil, Director of Admissions, Dr. M. Mohan, Overall Event Coordinator, Paavai Institutions, Mrs. M. Vimala, First Year HOD, PCE, and Mrs. A. Samundeeswari, Associate Professor, ECE, PEC, as well as the parents of the B.Ed. First Year students.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. P. S. Venkatesan, Principal of Paavai College of Education, followed by the National Anthem.
