Aura - All Association Inauguration held on 10.08.2022

The Inauguration of AURA-Paavai Student Activity Forum, all department associations and Paavai Voice-Monthly Bulletin Release, was organised in Ananda Arangam on 10.08.2022 to initiate the activities under different curricular platforms and to publish the various events happening in all Colleges under the umbrella of Paavai Voice. The function commenced with an invocation followed by lighting of Kuthuvilaku.

In the presidential address, Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Institutions presided over the function. She focussed on out of box thinking concepts, and to view problems as opportunities. She also explained the importance of academics, the various competitive platforms available for the student community. She added that – Teaching and Learning should happen simultaneously. She also supplemented it by narrating life examples of Ratan Tata and asking students to create models and work in established concerns. She also added not to underestimate anyone and stressed the importance of technical and literal meanings of words and how it would be helpful for a students under transition period.She also insisted on Paavai Mantra “Own our words and Deeds” and to create socially responsible, economically viable, legally bound and ethically sound atmosphere.

Mr.K.Shankar, Managing Partner, Shree Ranga Polymers, Karur was the chief guest.He insisted on his mantra “Dirty bottles to pretty garments” and enthused everyone to “Think differently in every aspect”. He explained his journey in IIT as Polymer Technology student. He explained about Entrepreneurship, different ventures, success formulas for business and also interlinked his life with a thirukural. He also narrated the various products made out PET and its process. He ended his presentation with a motivational video. Solemnization of appointments and administering the oath was also a part of the event. A gist of Paavai Voice-Monthly Bulletin, was rendered by Director Administrations, Paavai Institutions. It has catalogue of events and encompasses various events including socially responsible activities, compilation of achievements,health corner, English corner, blog writing, testimonials of prominent alumni, gist of extracurricular events.

Around 2000 students with faculty members from Paavai Engineering College attended the inaugural session. Welcome address was given by S.Sreetharsene, Final year, ECE. Chief guest introduction by Cherub Ebenezer, Final year CSE and Vote of thanks by A.Priya from third year Food Technology.
