Microsoft Innovation Centre (MIC) at Paavai Institutions had arranged for an event entitled “Artificial Intelligence Boot Camp” on 07.09.2017 which is the starting boot camp for the academic year 2017 – 2018. Four technical speakers were invited to deliver talk among students in which some of the speakers were our internal source. The event started with keynote address and guest introduction by Mr.V. Ravindra Krishnachandar, Centre In-Charge, MIC. Around 110 students of various academic streams participated enthusiastically in an urge to learn about Artificial Intelligence applied in Microsoft Azure. Topics like Face Recognition, Voice Recognition, Cognitive Services, Language Understanding and many more topics related with Artificial Intelligence were given a brief of how they are used by industries and organizations in today’s scenario.
Employability creating concepts like Machine Learning and ChatBot services were discussed with creating samples in Azure platform directly. These sessions were interactive with students putting forward questions.
At the end of the event, just to motivate the students, they were asked with questions which were answered correct by some students whom were gifted with goodies.
