The Annual Day 2024’ at Paavai Educational Institutions unfolded on March 16th , 2024, in a spectacular fashion, drawing a crowd of approximately 12,000 students and parents. Such festivities hold substantial importance in enhancing the collegiate journey, nurturing a feeling of camaraderie and dignity, while also serving as a forum for communal advancement and progress.
It commenced with Prayer Song followed by Tamilthaivazithu. The combined annual report of Paavai Educational Institutions for the academic year 2023-2024 was presented through an audio visual by Dr.M.PremKumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College.
Shri. CA. N. V. Natarajan, the Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions, emphasized the paramount significance of education and the vital practice of goal setting among the student community. Reflecting on past experiences, he fondly recounted the Alumni meet held in the USA, where former students lauded the institution for nurturing their decision-making abilities. Expressing gratitude, he commended the dedicated efforts of both the teaching staff and students of Paavai for their unwavering commitment, which significantly contributed to the resounding success of the cultural festival ASTRA- “இசையும் நிலவொளியும்”
Followed with it, the Chief Guest introduction was presented through an audio visual by Dr.R.MohanaPriya, Associate Professor, ECE. Mr.Rajendran Dandapani, Business Solutions Evangelist, Zoho Corporation and President, Zoho Schools of Learning was the Chief guest. In the keynote address, he stressed the importance of keen observation of one’s surroundings, understanding the scientific principles underpinning creative thinking, avoiding becoming overly reliant on data, and emphasized John Maxwell’s renowned quote, “When was the last time you did something for the first time?” He also highlighted the significance of forging connections as a fertile ground for generating ideas, fostering a mindset of continuous learning, and dedicated pursuit of goals.
Subsequently, commendations were bestowed upon exceptional students for their outstanding achievements throughout the year. This was succeeded by a cultural extravaganza comprising of 40 events featuring a medley of diverse melodies depicting the journey of Paavai students intertwined with jubilation. The expression of gratitude was conveyed by Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions. The function was attended by Paavai Educational Institutions Administrators – Vice Chairman, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Director Admissions, Director Admissions, Director -Paavai Group of Schools, Deans, Principals, Heads of the departments, Press and media, Parents, and students.
