This year also it has announced the University Rank Holders 2017 List. Paavai Students achieved 27 University Rank Holders among the affiliated engineering colleges to Anna University, Chennai. Paavai Engineering College alone produced 24 University Rank holders and Placed 2nd Position in Engineering Colleges in Anna University, Coimbatore Region and achieved 28th Position in Anna University-Chennai.

S.Saranya of Mechatronics Department, Paavai Engineering College achieved the University 7th Rank, Jerini Johnson 13th Rank, Joyal Kirubakaran 15th Rank, K.S.Anusuya 23rd Rank and R.Vinitha of Electrical and Electronics Department received the 48th Rank and S.Mahalakshmi of Computer Science
Engineering Department accomplished 48th University Rank in Anna University, Chennai among all the affiliated engineering colleges. M.Pavithran, Automobile Engineering Department, Paavai College of Engineering student achieved the University 9th Rank and R.Manikandan got the University 48th Rank in Anna University, Chennai. Seenivasan Ravichandiran of Mechatronics Department, Pavai College of Technology achieved the University 10th Rank in Anna University, Chennai.
