Paavai Engineering College’s, Rotaract Club organized a social leadership oriented activity of depositing seed balls on Kaliya Varadharaja Perumal Hill situated near Pachal, Namakkal.
Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, initiated the event by depositing the first seed ball. He explained the significance of depositing seed balls and motivated the students for active participation. Nearly 50 Students of MBA Department and staff members visited the hill and deposited more than 1500 seed balls in and around hill.
Rotaract club of Paavai Engineering College has achieved two major things through this activity. It made a tiny step to make the environment green and also created a sense of social concern among the students.
This event gave an energetic, social and a responsible feel to the students. The Rotaract club of Paavai Engineering College had laid a strong ground for more upcoming events for the welfare of the students and the society.
