A Three day workshop on the “Communication Skill” was organized by the Faculty Development Department on 11.05.2023 to 13.05.2023 at Cute Hall. Dr.K.Subashini, Head, Faculty Development Department welcomed the gathering. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director- Administration presided over the function. In his presidential address, he stressed on the two important qualities required for the teacher that is Knowledge and Communication. He said that the faculty should continuously learn new concepts to upgrade their skills. Dr.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College felicitated the gathering. He said that teachers should step out of their comfort zone and shed their inhibitions and fears, and speak only in English within college premises. Dr.J.Murshitha Banu, Professor, FDD listed out the objectives of the workshop. The resource persons of the workshop were Dr.K.Subashini, Head, FDD, Dr.J.Murshitha Banu, Professor, FDD and Dr.R.Shanthi, HoD, English, PEC. Many communication activities, games and interactive sessions were held and it made the participants to speak in English. 34 faculty members from Paavai Educational Institutions attended the workshop.
