A six day induction programme for the first year Engineering students of PEC and PCE held from 14.12.2022 to 20.12.2022 and 20.12.2022 to 26.12.2022

A six day induction programme for the first year engineering students of Paavai Engineering College and Paavai College of Engineering was held in two batches from 14.12.2022 to 20.12.2022 and 20.12.2022 to 26.12.2022 at Prestige Hall, Kalam’s Chamber, Vishwesvaraiya Hall, Brilliant Hall and Pragathi Hall.  The inauguration of the goal setting programme was held at Anandha Arangam on 14.12.2022 by 10.00 am. The programme started with the prayer song followed by lighting of the kuthuvilakku and welcome address was delivered by Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions felicitate the gathering. She elucidated the need for value based education and she stressed on importance of giving respect to everyone, Improve pronunciation style and concentrate on technical words. She quoted that “Focus on Small things, big things will follow”. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions addressed the students to improve their communication skills by listening to Ted Talks, English stories, Motivational speech. He asked the students to improve their vocabulary by learning atleast 10 new words per day. He highlighted that, Paavai was established with two main notions:

• Paavai should be the guiding torch to the youth folk
• Paavai should be the student centric institution

He advised the students not to use gadgets unnecessarily. The objectives were read out by Mr.R.K.Pragadeesh, I-year,CSE,PEC. After the inauguration, the technical sessions commenced.
