77th Independence day celebrations held on 15.08.2023

Independence Day is an occasion to reflect on India’s progress and in celebrating its achievements in various fields, including science, technology, arts, and sports. It’s also a time to look forward to a better and more prosperous future. It showcases India’s emergence as a global player. 

Paavai Institutions celebrated 77^th Independence Day in a grandiose manner in Kalpana Chawla Open Theatre with around 3000 students. The celebration commenced with Tamilthaivazithu. The National Flag was hoisted by our Chairman Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan and he gave his Independence Day address. He emphasised on the discipline, skills set of the students and also reminisced the freedom struggle of our leaders. He pondered on the Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam words that one should possess great goal and acquire knowledge from various resources. He also insisted, the growth of an individual will impact the society and the country in turn. Every youth should focus on smart and hard work, perseverance and treat people with love, affection, courtesy, that benefit ourselves and our fellow beings.

It was followed by a spectacular march-past by the students representing various colleges of Paavai Institutions. The synchronized movements, the crisp commands, the zeal, and the enthusiasm of the students showed a perfect symphony. Prizes were distributed to the achievers from National Cadet Corps, National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross, Paavai Polytechnic Basketball Teams – State and District Level and Cultural teams. The event was graced by the presence of Vice Chairman, Secretary, Directors, Deans, Principals, Heads of various departments, faculty members and pearls of Paavai Institutions.
