Paavai Institutions celebrated the 76th Republic Day at Kalpana Chawla Open Theatre. The celebration began with Tamil Thaivazthu followed by Flag song. Shri. CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Republic Day address.
In his speech, he emphasized that we should feel a deep sense of pride when taking oath as citizens of India. He reminded us that on this special occasion, we must honor the sacrifices made by our national leaders, who fought for over two centuries to secure Independence. Their ultimate sacrifices led to the freedom that we enjoy now. After independence, the Constitution of India was drafted in 1950 under Dr. Ambedkar’s leadership, guaranteeing social justice, equality, and equal rights for all citizens. He said that, we must safeguard and value the freedom and should live with love and respect for one another, fulfilling our duties with joy, while celebrating fraternity, as this will strengthen unity and contribute to the nation’s growth.
The students of Paavai Institutions performed a spectacular march-past, showcasing synchronized movements, sharp commands, and vibrant energy. Mr. C. Rathnakumar, NSS Program Officer of Paavai Engineering College was conferred with the Best Blood Donation Campaign Coordinator Award by the District Collector of Namakkal. Cadet D.Kiruthika II- B.Com.CA of Pavai Arts and Science College for Women, Youth Adventure Camp participant was recognized for securing first place in the All-India Mountaineering Training Camp in Madhya Pradesh. In addition, awards and certificates were given to students who participated in various events, including NCC, NSS, Blood Donation Campaign and Cultural events.
