A grand graduation ceremony was held for the students of Paavai Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Paavai Arts & Science College, and Paavai College of Engineering. The event was presided over by the Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions, Shri N.V. Natarajan, who inaugurated the ceremony and delivered the presidential address.
The distinguished guest of honor for the event was Dr. Lang Ji Yang, Advisor and Director of the Science and Technology Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India. Dr. Hariharan, the Principal of Paavai College of Engineering, welcomed all the guests and attendees.
Mrs. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, lit the traditional lamp to mark the beginning of the ceremony.
During his keynote address, Dr. Lang Ji Yang said:
“It is a joyous occasion to witness young graduates successfully completing their college education. Today, you are stepping into the world as graduates in various fields, including engineering, arts and science, and paramedical studies. You are the foundation of progress in every industry. You are about to embark on your career paths with new challenges and expectations. To achieve greater heights, you must adapt to modern technological advancements. Lifelong learning and continuous self-improvement should be your guiding principles.
Overcome fears and hesitations, and always work as a team. Strive to solve contemporary problems in your industries and expand your knowledge on a global level. Pursuing higher education or working abroad will help you excel in your field. In this regard, Taiwan can be an excellent choice for you. Programs such as the International Internship Pioneer Program (IIPP) and Taiwan Experiential Learning Program (TEEP) offer scholarships for projects, internships, and higher studies in Taiwan.
Always remain grateful to your parents, teachers, and the institution that shaped you. Your growth should also contribute to their growth. I extend my best wishes for you all to become successful professionals and achievers.”
The ceremony honored over 800 graduands, with university rank holders receiving gold medals, and the top two students in each department receiving gold and silver medals in recognition of their achievements.
Prior to this, the Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions presented a memento and a golden shawl to the esteemed guest of honor.
Following this, the Chairman administered the Graduation Pledge to the newly conferred graduates.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Hebsy Rachel Sellarani, Principal of Paavai Nursing & Research College, followed by the national anthem.
