The 19th graduation ceremony for the graduates of Paavai College of Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Science and Arts and Science, was organized in a grandiose manner on 29.09.2024 from 10.30a.m. to 1.30p.m. at Anandha Arangam. Shri. CA.N.V. Natarajan, The Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function and declared the convocation open. Major General Dr. R. Ravikumar, AVSM, Dean of KMCH Institute of Health Sciences, was the chief guest of the day. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, The Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions, lighted the kuthuvilakku along with the dignitaries on the dias. Dr.V.Hariharan, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, welcomed the gathering.
In the presidential address, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions appreciated and applauded the graduates and parents. He emphasised that parents, students, teachers, society and finally the management forms the five faces of the kuthuvilaku to which, utmost importance is given in Paavai. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Associate Professor and Head, ECE introduced the Chief guest Major General Dr. R. Ravikumar, AVSM, Dean of KMCH Institute of Health Sciences. The chief guest, in his keynote address congratulated the graduates of Paavai Institutions.He highlighted about compassionate care, research, product innovation, the role of youngsters towards integrity and the importance of strong alumni network. He also emphasized on “Sound mind in a Sound body” to the graduates. He ended his address reminiscing on Swami Vivekananda quote “Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is achieved”.
All the graduates were awarded with degree certificates and the University rank holders, department toppers were awarded with cash prizes, gold coins and medals. Earlier, the Chairman and Secretary, Paavai Institutions, presented the memento and shawl to the chief guest. The graduates were administered with the convocation pledge by the President of the convocation ceremony and later it was dissolved. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Dr.Hepsi Rachel Chellarani, Principal, Paavai College of Nursing and Research.
The Vice Chairman, Thiru Manisekaran, Secretary, Thiru Palanivel, Director Administrations, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Admissions, Thiru K.Senthil, Deans, Principals, Controller of Examinations, Heads of various Departments, Faculty members, graduates and parents were present in the graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony ended with National anthem by the students.
