Go Green

The world would not be the same without greeenery and the one slogan all of us keep hearing is “Go Green”. Take all that your creativity can and turn this plot of 15ft x 15ft into a Go Green model. The teams can make an installation, demonstrate reuse or anything that the team can think of.

This is a group event focusing on the creativity of students.

  • Maximum 1 Teams per MasterTeam.

  • Max 10 per team

  • TIME DURATION : Half day

  • Bricks will be provided.

  • Judges decision will be final. Any violation will result in elimination.

  • Only the first two places will be awarded.

Marks will be assessed based on Design complexity, Visual appearance / beauty, Creativity in material usage.

Cardboard Furniture Design

Create a Simple furniture using Cardboard and ensure that it is usable. Engineers know how to make reusable content and here is a chance to showcase that. 

  • This is a group event focusing on the creativity of students.
  • Ensure that someone can sit/use and showcase the piece of furniture being created by the team.
  • No binders/Glues to be used. Use interlocking or other reusable binding mechanisms.
  • Reference Video for Demo Purposes Only (Do not recreate the same.)

 

  • 2 Teams per Master Team
  • Maximum 4 participants per Master Team

  • TIME DURATION : Half Day

  • Bring in your own materials.

Fashion Runway

Walk the ramp wearing unique clothing that are based on the theme

  1. Open to the choice of participants. Creative themes with proper execution stand a chance to win.

This is a group event focusing on the design skills of students on fabric.

  • Maximum 2 Teams per Master Team.
  • Max 10 Participants per Team.
  • Time for each Team is limited to 8 + 2 mins for stage setting and clearing the stage. Violating Time limit will result in elimination.
  • The teams need to clean up any mess or trash, etc. that you may use or make and all teams need to have representation backstage to clean the stage after the team’s program.
  • Any form of obscenity will result in debarring the team from Participation.
  • The Team can choose the themes of their choice.
  • Judges decision will be final. Any violation will result in elimination.
  • Only the first two places will be awarded.

Marks will be assessed based on Music (choice of song), Theme, Theme execution, Q & a round, Performance.

DESIGNER OF ASTRA: Newspaper Dressing

No, no, no, no… The textile industry isn’t undergoing a shut down. Newspaper Dressing is just a competition where papers, often thought useless by the public, is used by the thoughtful minds to create dresses with various designs and styles. For a fashion bug, newspapers are the perfect material for experimentation.

This is a group event focusing on the creativity of students.

  • Maximum 4 Teams per Master Team.

  • A team can comprise of 2 – 3 members.

  • TIME DURATION : 1:30 Hrs.

  • Newspaper will be provided. Participants are advised to use their own stationary materials.

  • Obscenity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.

  • Judges decision will be final. Any violation will result in elimination.

  • Only the first two places will be awarded.
